The Type Rating Instructor course is delivered through a UK ATO and forms the first part of the candidate's journey to becoming a trainer/instructor. 

 

 

 

 

 

Training Techniques

This course is delivered in association with Aircrew Direct, an established UK ATO specialising in professional pilot training and instructor development. Candidates will be introduced to various facilitative and instructional techniques throughout the course and will take part in practical sessions delivering presentations and briefings.

The course content also includes a closer look at the learning process, trainee evaluations and how best to create a progressive learning environment. This may be taken as a standalone course, or as part of a package, and is valid for TRI ratings on other types, as well as for company training positions.
